2 pages to print in color or outline of the parrot (if you want to color it) -

Thin cardboard - 

*Crayons or markers if you want to color the animal.

Optional step: Coloring the parrot

If you wish, you can print the pages with the parrot without colors to be able to color your personalized parrot.

Use bright colors to bring your bird to life.

And continue the DIY with one-of-a-kind parrot.

Step 1: Glue

Start by applying glue to the back of the previously printed PDF.

Step 2: Overlaying the two sides

Stick the paper flat onto the cardboard.

(Wait for the glue to dry before continuing the DIY).

Step 3: Cut out the animal outline

While the glue dries on the cardboard, take the other page of the PDF and cut the outline of the parrot.

Put aside your cutout for the next step of the DIY.

Step 4: Cut

Take the parrot you previously glued to the cardboard and cut it out.

Step 5: Glue – Part 1

Apply the glue on the back of the parrot that you just cut out.

Step 6: Glue – Part 2

Gently place the paper on the back of the cardboard.

And there you have it, your parrot accessory is ready to take its place on your arm to complete your pirate costume! This DIY activity is easy to do and will allow your children to unleash their creativity while learning new crafting techniques.
