Frequently Asked Questions

1 - I haven’t received the link to download my printable kit. What should I do? Check your spam folder. Your link is probably in it.
If not, go to the “My account” section. Log in then go to “My payments, orders and printable kit”. At the far right of the order line, click on “Access the contents of the order”. Your Zip will open in the next window. Just double-click to download and open your Zip!

2 - I can’t open the Zip file for my printable kit, what should I do? We strongly advise you to download your Zip from a computer. Most of them will have built-in unzip programs and you only need to double-click on the Zip icon.
If this doesn’t work, please try on another computer. If still nothing happens, we suggest you install the free and reliable software Open Source 7zip. Click here to download it.

3 - Can I print my treasure hunt in black and white and double sided? NO! Please don’t!

4 - I want to cancel my order, what shall I do? If you have already downloaded the scavenger hunt file, then it will be regarded as “delivered” and Right of withdrawal doesn’t apply any more.  If, however, you haven’t yet downloaded the file, contact us at hello@quizoparty.com and we will cancel your order for you.

5 - Where can I find my payments? Go to the “My account” section and click on “My payments, orders and printable kits”. You will find the list of your payments there in PDF format.

6 - How can I access the Spotify playlists? Click HERE to access our Spotify account or scan the code on page 2 of your Instruction Guide. For more details, please read this article: “How to access our Spotify playlists”.

7 - Can I organize a Quizoparty® scavenger hunt indoors? YES. Our game can be played indoors or outdoors. If the game is played entirely inside your home, we do recommend you hide the counters in several rooms. There are “no-entry” sticky notes available to close off rooms.

8 - Can I set up a Quizoparty® scavenger hunt in a garden/public park? YES. Our ready-made game is self-contained. Therefore, you can set up anywhere you fancy without having to bring extra equipment.

9 - I’ll be on my own with the children, can I manage? YES. The creator of Quizoparty® once entertained 16 children for a birthday party by herself. It is exhausting though, and we suggest you rope helpers in to deal with large groups. Managing a group of up to 10 children is straightforward, but still easier with help. An older child can do the job.

10 - How long does a Quizoparty® treasure hunt last for? It all depends on the circumstances: venue, children’s speed and hiding spots. In general, a game lasts around 1.5h for age groups 9-12, and 1h for age groups 6-8. There can be occurrences when the game doesn’t last for so long if the keys/counters were too easy to find or the children were particularly quick. If this happens, remember to check out our Additional Games section available in your kit – they will prolong the party until the first parents arrive for pick-up!

11 - Is it possible to play with one team only? YES, but we wouldn’t recommend it. Indeed, the game is more interesting with two teams playing, and easier to manage. If it is competitiveness you worry about, relax. Quizoparty® is a collaborative game and all teams must win a key to open the treasure chest. Mission 10 will help balance results.

12 - Must the teams be even numbered? No, Even if the teams don’t have the same number of players, it will not affect the outcome of the game or the results.

13 - Is it possible to organize a Quizoparty® treasure hunt for one child only? YES, but it is more fun to play with a least another child.

14 - Is it possible to contact you by phone? YES on +33(0)2 40 03 78 18. But remember that our Quizoparty® team is based in France, therefore on the Paris meridian time. Moreover, our staff is French and not all fluent in English. It would be a lot easier if you sent us an email at hello@quizoparty.com.  We will endeavor to reply to you as soon as possible, but do keep in mind time differences :)

15 - How do I print the PDF document on “Letter”, the paper format used in the US?

Our kits are designed to fit the ISO A4 size. To print on Letter (US standard), make sure you check the Fit option in the print window of your Acrobat software.
