Yes, it is possible to hold a scavenger hunt indoors!
Even if your child has a winter birthday, or you don’t have a garden, or the weather is unreliable, you can still organize a scavenger hunt for your child’s birthday party! Thanks to Quizoparty®, organizing a successful indoor scavenger hunt is not only possible but super easy!
Preparing an indoor birthday
party is easy peasy!
Quizoparty®’s scavenger hunts are not your average scavenger hunts. This part quiz, part scavenger hunt game was created by Martha, a mother of two, who like you, wanted to hold birthday parties that would not wreak havoc in her home! Therefore, she officially created this highly creative game that can be played in a flat, a house or outdoors.
All you’ll have to do is choose 10 hiding places in different rooms to hide the numbered keys that are included in your kit and fill in the Quizoparty® treasure map with the pictograms or clues that have been written for you and included in the ready-made kit.
This activity, even played in a small space, will channel the children’s energy whilst enjoying a fabulous birthday party.
Our tips for an
indoor scavenger hunt.
With our ready-made Quizoparty® kit comes the key resource that allows for a safe indoor scavenger hunt: the repositionable No Entry sticky notes! Place them on the doors of the rooms you want undisturbed: parents’ bedrooms, offices, wardrobes… and no one will go in!
Another great idea is having Headquarters. As a matter of fact, it gives the teams a place to regroup after having hunted down a numbered key, work out their various missions, and protect their finding from little spies! The missions are varied and include enigmas, quizzes, observation and deduction games, the odd one out game, coded messages, words to connect, charades, team challenges and more.
Finally, contrary to other traditional scavenger hunts, the children do not go hunting down the numbered keys at the same time. This allows for fluidity of movement within the flat or house.
In the end, Quizoparty® could very well be a quiet game! But don’t keep your hopes too high, the children will probably get excited. However, this activity will enable you to channel their energy all along this fun day!
